Impressive
Picture More | Patterns
Since I was at work in Warrenton today, I decided to find a pattern I liked in one of the buildings around town. I like the pattern of the windows in the old courthouse. The facade is symmetric, and the windows and doors all have arched tops. The statue is of John Marshall, who lived from 1755 to 1835 and was born in southern Fauquier
County. He was the fourth Chief Justice of the United States Supreme
Court (serving from 1801 to 1835), and the statue identifies him as a
frontiersman, soldier, and lawyer.
