Low Light

Not an especially pretty picture, but it's definitely a low light situation when I leave work during the winter.  This is the view from the shopping center where I work down to the street below (the shopping center sits atop a hill).

Fire

These are lit sugared red berry branches from Balsam Hill.  I bought them as Christmas decor but decided to leave them out to warm up dreary January evenings.

Over the past few nights I have been loving the moon in the night sky.  I was finally able to take a picture tonight.  The moon is currently waxing crescent.  Venus and Jupiter have also been bright in the night sky, but I wasn't able to get a picture while they appeared closer to the moon.
