Resilient
Harmony | Self Portrait
The green plants in these pictures are common greenbrier (Smilax rotundifolia). They grow everywhere in our woods and are just about the most resilient plants that I have seen. We had a fire on our property 22 years ago just before we built our house, and the greenbrier was one of the first things that grew back. My husband cuts it back and rips it out by the roots, but it still comes back.
