I always find it interesting when people leave their shopping carts in different places in the parking lot. In this case it seems like it might have been more work to get the cart over the curb than to just take it over to the entrance, but we'll never know what reason they had for leaving it there.
Successful people do not leave shopping carts unreturned, or so I have heard.
