Wave

Picture You | What I Love

I love boating of all kinds!  I love to tube and water ski.  I love to kayak and paddleboard.  I like to go out on small cruises and ferries.  I love to take cruises on the big ships.  I even know how to sail and enjoy that too.  This was taken on our recent vacation in May, and I love these boys, especially when they creatively find something to do together.  I'm choosing to see the wake our boat made as a small wave of sorts.

Determined

Over the years I have volunteered with a lot of different organizations including Boy Scouts, the board of directors of our swim team, and a couple of women's clubs, and I love it.  I have also had a lot of different roles at my church.  Currently I am the Coordinator of Educational Ministries.  Mostly that means that I am in charge of making sure that everything is in place for Sunday School classes.  Today I am determined to finish my articles for the church newsletter.  "He got up, rebuked the wind and said to the waves, 'Quiet! I spent most of the morning working on this brownie sundae ice cream pie that I am taking to a Father's Day get together tomorrow.  This is what it looks like now.  It's still chilling in the freezer.  I have to wait until tomorrow to put the chocolate sauce and whipped cream on it.

I went out to a local airport hoping that I might catch some planes taking off today.

 

This picture was a close second for today.  I got my hair cut and was trying to get more of my hair in the picture, but I like the way it turned out.

 

 

Lastly, I was at the VRE Broad Run station to look for planes and hoping to see a train too, which didn't happen (I wasn't going to wait 57 minutes), and I was surprised at how few cars are in the parking lot during the middle of the workday.  Over the years they have had to add to the parking lot because there were never enough spaces.  I had experiences where I tried to park there, and you had to park along the road because there weren't any available spaces.  This is what it looked like today right around 4:00 p. m.
