Game

My family discovered this game a few years ago, and it has become a favorite.  The reader reads an event and you have to place it correctly between the other years in your own chronology.  If you guess correctly you get the card.  If you don't get it correct, the person next to you has a chance to guess.  It's a fun game for fans of history.

Now

It has been extremely cold here in Virginia this week.  The snow we got on January 6 is still hanging around, and the snow that fell on January 19 has hardly melted at all.  Today was sunny, but at 11:00 a. m. the temperature was just 14°F.  Parts of the back patio still look like this.  Schools were delayed or canceled today due to the cold temperatures and icy roads.

Chosen | Seasonal Photo

I have chosen our back patio for the seasonal photo this year.  I am hoping that there will be a lot of changes here over the coming year.  Today is a clear day with a temperature of 37°F.

Adjust

My pile of junk mail toppled over twice yesterday so I needed to make an adjustment to whittle it down.  First I moved it to a box so that I wouldn't have to pick it up again, and then I started opening the envelopes and sorting through everything.
