Today we traveled to Yorktown.  My husband and sons biked part of the battlefield and then we had lunch in town.  I found this LOVE sign next to the restaurant, and I'm sure there must be some pink on it somewhere.

We spent the morning at Jamestown and the afternoon at Colonial Williamsburg.  We walked through the Governor's Palace around 4:00 which was just before closing time.  There were some lovely pink flowers in the gardens, which are protected by large brick walls.

Life-changing

We spent Mother's Day at Busch Gardens this year.  It was a cold, rainy day, but it was so much fun!  The best part was that there were no lines!  We didn't get a lot of pictures, but the ones we got captured the day.  No pink; just purple. 

 

This is one of my favorite pictures because this is one of my favorite roller coasters from my childhood and now I get to share it with my now adult sons.

We ate dinner at Craft 31 in Williamsburg tonight.  They serve craft beer, Bottoms Up pizza, and gourmet burgers.  Nearly all of us tried out new beverages.  My husband got a flight of beers to try.
