I dared to go outside to put something in the mailbox this morning.  We got a little bit of snow on Friday, and it's still hanging around because the temperatures had been below freezing over the weekend. I thought to bring a small box with me to set my camera on so that it wasn't actually sitting in the snow.

This tree limb was defeated by a recent snowstorm and fell to the ground.  It's still lying in front of its upright brethren until my husband decides to move it to the bonfire pile.

I saw lots of repeating window patterns in the town of Warrenton, but I decided to get a picture of the windows at this church.  The buttresses and dentil molding are also pretty cool.

It was an okay day at the bowling alley.  I discovered that we are in first place, but we only won one game today.  However, that looks like it might be enough to keep us in first.  There were lots of bowling balls, including these on a sale rack.

As a child riding the school bus, I saw these utility towers and thought they looked like giant robots marching across the countryside.  It amused me to think about that on those bus rides, and this was in the days before Transformers and the Iron Giant movie.  They are spaced pretty far apart, but you can several of them in a row if you look closely.
