Magnificent

I looked around for insects but couldn't find any that would cooperate to be photographed, but the day lilies are in bloom finally.  I like that you can see the pollen in this picture.  I also love how the petals curl.

Off Prompt

No water here, unless you count the coming rain.  However, once again I saw a cool car at the grocery store so I had to take a picture.  I'm not sure what it is, but it looks like it might be a 1947 Chevrolet Fleetline.  I should have stopped and asked the owner who had just come out to his car as I was leaving.  I like the fact that in the background, you can see the recently installed electric vehicle charging station.

Ink

My ink for today is the menu from a restaurant that we visited for the first time.  It's called Flavor on Main, and it's right on Main Street in Culpeper.  The food was terrific!  It definitely calls for a repeat visit.  I apologize for the lack of crispness in the photos.  There wasn't a lot of light, and this Nikon Coolpix is a new camera that I am still learning to use.

 

 

I had the marinated flank steak.

 

 

David had the duck breast and duck sausage.

 

 

And we shared the chocolate souffle for dessert.
