Prompt Free

Today was our last day of bowling for this season so I wanted to get a picture of our current team.  From left to right, Faye, Del, Anne (my mom), and me. I did bowl another 400 set, which makes 17 weeks out of 32.  Photo credit goes to my son who took the picture for me.

Fence

This retaining wall and fence are in the shopping center where I work.  Incidentally, I usually shoot in aperture priority mode, but I wasn't liking how it looked. So for the first time in years, I switched to manual.

This shawl that I got in Spain in 1985 is beautiful and simple and provides just the right amount of comfort on a spring day.

Limitless

Picture Color | White
The challenge was to experiment with monochromatism today, to play with shapes and textures, and pay attention to highlights and shadows. The possibilities are limitless!  Wanting a classic look for my china, I have a lot of white dishes in the Pfaltzgraff Heritage pattern so I started looking at taking some pictures of them in our new cabinets, but I wasn't happy with that look.  After that I pulled out some of my vases and a crystal votive out and took some pictures on our new counter.  I was really happy with how these turned out.
