After the Rain
It did rain Thursday night. In fact, a bad storm came through our area. This was one of the scariest, if not the single most scary storm while living in this house for the past 25 years. Damage was this bad all along our road, and there were widespread power outages. Our power went out just before 7:00 p.m. on Thursday and wasn't restored until between midnight and 2:00 a.m. on Saturday morning. This was the second longest power outage we have had. The longest was 36 hours after Hurricane Isabel in 2003.
