We have been on the waiting list for Starlink for a couple of years.  Today our Starlink receiver arrived, and my husband set it up to start testing it.  We currently have satellite television and DSL internet through the phone lines because there are no cable providers or fiber optic lines in the rural area where we live.

 

Besties Lunch

Today I had lunch with my best friend, something we do several times a year.  This time we went to a new restaurant, Ours Noir, in Washington, Virginia.  We had a great time and a wonderful lunch.  We also visited a couple of art galleries.  

The Monte Cristo was terrific!

We had the flourless chocolate cake and the pecan pie.

My best friend and I had lunch recently.  When I say lunch, I mean that we sit in a restaurant for a couple of hours and sometimes after that we visit art galleries.  On this day we did both.  Dessert is almost always involved.  I had flourless chocolate cake, and my friend had pecan pie.

Today at church I brought the children's message.  I talked about the generosity of those who work with Habitat for Humanity.  This is a different perspective because I'm usually on the other side of the camera.  "Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.  It always protects, always trusts, always perseveres.  And now these three remain: faith, hope, and love.  But the greatest of these is love." ~1 Corinthians 13:6-7. 13
