This really isn't lavender, but it's a lovely sight for me.  My mom moved my peony because it didn't bloom where it was last year.  I was sure that it wasn't going to bloom again, but everything in my yard blooms later than everyone else it seems.  It is finally blooming!

Today we welcomed new members by baptism and transfer of membership.  Five people were baptized in the pond of a member of the congregation, and a couple who moved to the area recently transferred their membership.  It was a special time of fellowship.  "Those who accepted his message were baptized, and about three thousand were added to their number that day." ~Acts 2:41
